‘Try Me’ by Sarkodie is the biggest song at the moment and Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has so much to do with it.
Sarkodie composed and released this song after the actress released her memoir 'I am not Yvonne Nelson.

She made a series of allegations against the Ghanaian rapper who she dated over 10 years ago.
A week ago, the actress sparked conversations on social media with shocking disclosures from her book.

She admitted that after getting pregnant for Sarkodie in 2010, she procured an abortion because the artist wouldn't father the child.
These allegations pushed Sarkodie to the Studio and he released ‘Try Me’ as a response to Nelson’s claims which she did not take lightly.

“In my book, i narrated how you got me pregnant, How you couldn’t wait for me to get rid of it. How you DROVE me to have an abortion. As usual, you want to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt. We both have daughters, lets see what life throws at them,” she tweeted after Sarkodie dropped the song.

Examining these assertions Sarkodie labelled Nelson a promiscuous person during their relationship.
The artist insists that she had many lovers and fiercely denied being the one responsible for the pregnancy she terminated.
In his defence though, he claimed that despite not being prepared to have a child, he advised Nelson to keep the pregnancy but she decided otherwise.

Still, Nelson hold that ‘Try Me’ is an outright lie by Sarkodie who is trying to save his image.
