The 2015 Mdundo awards are neigh and this almost cosmic level event starts tomorrow with the release of the first nomination list out of the seven categories: the most downloaded Hip Hop!

Tomorrow for the first time music enthusiasts all over this blue marble will get to know if their favorite hip hop artist(s) made it onto this coveted list and a month from now we will all get to see the most downloaded hip hop artist awarded.

No voting? So how does the process of picking the winner work?

Basically the nomination list consists of a certain number of artists with the most downloads in their category; a cumulative number from the last time we had the 2014 Mdundo awards- May 2014. So accordingly, the artist that has the most downloads to date, wears the crown.

So how do we Mdundo users participate?

Mdundo prides itself in making things easier for its users and in this case, you, the user, played the biggest part in deciding who the best artist in each category is by simply clicking the ‘DOWNLOAD’ button. What’s now remaining for you to do is simply stay conscious as the awards take place.
