Lynx Entertainment Addresses Rumours KiDi Suffered a Stroke

Lynx Entertainment boss Richie Mensah has rubbished rumours that Ghanaian Afrobeats star KiDi is battling a stroke. 

Mensah expressly said that platforms carrying the stroke narrative are misinforming the public. “KiDi hasn’t had a stroke,” he tweeted urging the public, not to fall for clickbait stories by platforms spreading the rumours to get traffic.

The ‘stroke’ rumour came about after the cancellation of his Golden Boy North American Tour on February 24 citing health issues. In his statement on the cancellation of the tour, KiDi said that it was a hard decision to make but he had to. 

It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the postponement of my Golden Boy North American Tour. I understand how incredibly disappointing this news is for a lot of you,” he said. 

He added: “I've had to make this decision to postpone the tour due to health issues and I want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. A tour of this magnitude and level of commitment it will take may put me at risk of further damage to my health.” KiDi assured his North American fans that when he meets them next, it will be an unforgettable experience.
