The Nigerian trio of Burna Boy, Rema and Fireboy DML have been nominated for awards at France's Nouvelle Radio des Jeunes (NRJ) Music Awards.

The Nouvelle Radio des Jeunes are presented annually by the French radio station NRJ to recognise outstanding achievements in French and international music. Rema has been nominated for three awards. They are under the Best International Collaboration for his Calm Down Remix with Selena Gomez, International Revelation Artiste, and International Song of the Year for Calm Down.

Burna Boy was nominated under the "Best International Collaboration" category. His NRJ nomination follows the release of his sixth album ‘Love Damini’. One of his takeaway collaborations is ‘For My Hand’ which he features British artist Ed Sheeran. Additionally, Fireboy DML was nominated for Best International Collaboration for his work on the Peru Remix with Ed Sheeran.

Success on both sides of the Atlantic has helped keep this song at the top of the Billboard Afrobeats Chart for the weeks. The previous record holder was CKay's "Love Nwantiti." Music fans in France and Belgium can participate in the award show's voting process leading up to the ceremony on November 18.
