Ugandan artist Bebe Cool is under fire for his blunt opinion on Azawi's trending debut album 'African Music' that was released last year.

Every beginning of the year, the Gagamel singer releases a list of his favorite artists alongside their songs that made the year 2021 worthwhile.

Posting on his official social media pages, Bebe Cool acknowledged artists like Pallaso, Liam Voice, Sheebah among others for the job well done in the previous year but fans lost it when it got to Azawi's album

Whereas most music lovers have crowned the Swangz Avenue signee as the top artist this year with almost all songs on her album being hits, Bebe Cool feels there is more work to be done.

Posting on his social media pages, Bebe Cool gave an impression that her album was moderate.

“Swangz Avenue 2021 shining star, the only female artist to release an album in 2021 with two hit songs 'My Year' and 'Slow Dancing'. With 'Slow Dancing' as her biggest hit song and 'My year' moderate, though all her songs on the album seem to be good and require public attention," Bebe Cool wrote.

Fans who believe that she had more than two hit songs from the album stormed Bebe Cool's comment section, 'schooling' him about good music. They argued how her craft is one of a kind and it takes those who have a deep and clear understanding of music to appreciate her songs.
