“The idea behind this campaign is mainly to unite people and bring them together as we count down days to our golden Jubilee. It is nothing political just a way of bringing young people together and celebrating how far we have come as a country," he told Mdundo.
The campaign team which has been travelling around various universities in the country including Mombasa Polytechnic University and Egerton University in Nakuru will be having a concert this weekend at the Kenyatta University and eventually wrap up the campaign tour on the 1st of December in a large celebration that will be held at the KICC.
“The final concert will have artists of all kinds showcasing their skills including comedians, DJ’s, Musicians and others so it’s definitely going to be huge. It will be aired live on NTV from 11am – 6pm and entrance will be free," he added.
