The much-awaited Personality of the year Awards 2021 (POTYAS21) by Diamond TV Zambia finally went down on Saturday. The event was marked by pomp and color as celebrities made way for the big day.

Below is a full list of artists who emerged victorious this year:

• Most Fashionable Male Personality - Bobby East
• Gospel Personality of the Year (Female) - Esther Chungu
• Gospel Personality of the Year (Male) - Pompi
• Most Fashionable Female Personality - Mampi
• Best Male Act - Yo Maps
• Best Female Act - Towela Kaira
• Best Song of 2021 - Neo Slayer
• Best DJ of the Year - Iam Vejeezy
• Best Male Sportsman - Patson Daka

The event sponsored by Coca Cola intends to celebrate those who have left a mark of excellence in what they do. Diamond TV crew; Vida Mwale, Malama Mukonde, Chichi HanaMwanza, Chimweka Chileshe and Tapiwa Ngoma hosted the event.

This was Diamond TV’s first awards event. One of the closely contested category was Male Act of the year which Yo Maps scooped.

‘Teti’ hit maker Slap Dee had been nominated in this category together with Chanda na Kay, Nez Long, Macky 2 and Roberto.
