A few weeks back, rapper Tiye P caused a storm in Zambian music circles after featuring on Killa Beats’ new song ‘My Diary 11’.

Immediately KB released the song also featuring Muzo and Dizmo, Zambians couldn’t have enough of Tiye P’s verse. Perhaps it is due to the fact that he accused Chef 187 of neglect.

In his verse, he narrated how he allegedly sent a musical project to Chef 187 for his debut album titled ‘RED’, but never got a response from the ‘Like A Blesser’ hit maker.

According to Tiye-P, after waiting for so long for Chef 187 to get back, he ended up feeling frustrated and even concluded that Chef was not interested in seeing him succeed.

He further claimed that while he was signed under Alpha Entertainment owned by Macky 2, he waited for his album to be released in 2010 but it was all futile.

Tiye-P sadly narrates the label never contacted him after telling him that the album launch failed because all data was lost.

Speaking recently to Hellen Zuru Phiri, he said that people are more focused on his message other than his artistic output in the song.

He adds that though he felt bad about his work fading away without a trace, he moved on because Macky 2 was at the time dealing with a lot.

Tiye P also confirmed that he doesn’t feel too good when people ‘push him to a corner’ and fail to appreciate his work’.
