Nigerian dancehall singer and music producer Duncan Mighty has released a new song titled ‘Nibolowa’. The song released on August 17, 2021, sees the Obio-Akpor, Rivers State-born musician team up with Grammy award-winning superstar Burna Boy.

‘Nibolowa’ – a Yoruba word for Where are you is a love reggae/dancehall song with some elements of Afrobeats. On the record, the duo speak out their heart to their love interest – asking her to be their ‘crankshaft, brake-pad, steering, engine, and tire.”

“You be the one wey can knock mi door, kpokpokpomikpo,” read part of the lyrics in the song. Burna Boy added magic to the song with his towering voice.

Sung mostly in his native Ikwerre language, the new song affirms Duncan Mighty’s musical style which demonstrates a high level of genre versatility and is also heavily influenced by the sounds and culture of his people.
