Ruger Lands Major Endorsement Deal

Nigerian singer and songwriter Ruger has signed his first major endorsement deal.

Ruger who is signed to Jonzing World, an imprint of the Don Jazzy-founded and Tega Oghenejobo-led Mavin Global Records announced signing the deal in a post shared on his official Instagram account.

The deal will see the ‘Bounce’ hitmaker perform once every month at the Eko Hotel. The Eko Convention Centre housed in Eko Hotel is the largest multipurpose conference; banquet and exhibition centre in Nigeria. 

The hotel is known for hosting concerts, movie premieres, international exhibitions, weddings, conferences, and Award ceremonies.

“RU NATION!!! I just Signed a massive Entertainment Residency Endorsement Deal with @ekohotels. This will see me spend quality time with my #RuNation Family once a month from this Sunday August 15th 2021 at EKO HOTELS by 6pm,” Ruger posted.

“I thank the most high God for all he has done for me and I specially wanna thank my lovely and ever amazing RU NATION. The love I have received from you is my drive and motivation. God bless you all. I love you so much,” he added.

Ruger was introduced to the Nigerian music industry with his debut Extended Play (EP) ‘Pandemic’ that has since performed well. The 6-track EP houses hit singles ‘Bounce’ and ‘Ruger’ both of which have official music videos.

‘Bounce’ video released on May 12, 2021, has since accumulated close to 6 million views on YouTube.
