Macky 2 Opens up on Creation of His Latest Hit ‘Take It Easy’ Featuring Muzo Alphonso

Zambian musician Macky 2 has opened up on the creation of his latest song dubbed ‘Take it Easy’ featuring Muzo Alphonso. According to Macky 2, they did the song a few weeks ago, but he did not want to drop the project while the latter was still unwell.
According to Macky 2, after recording the song and shooting the video, they agreed to create room for Muzo to undertake medication and recover from his mental disorder.

However, Muzo lacked proper care, thus his condition deteriorated as was witnessed in photos that did round on social media recently.
“A few weeks ago.. With the help of his manager king Deza we brought Muzo to Lusaka and recorded the song "Take it Easy",” Macky 2 said.
“After recording the Song and Shooting the video, Muzo and his team went back and were scheduled to come back after elections so that we could start working on their long term plan that would include therapy, detoxing and so on. I actually thought we made progress, then I started seeing those disturbing pictures online. He was back in Kasama again and there was nobody keeping an eye on him. It was just heartbreaking to see,” he said.

Macky 2 further noted that it felt so wrong to release the song when Muzo is unwell and at the lowest point in his life. However, he eventually released the song for the sake of creating awareness on the need for peace during this electioneering period.
‘Take It Easy’ is a song preaching peace, reconciliation and unity during the electioneering period.
