Ugandan artist Naira Ali has dismissed claims she has beef with fellow musicians Spice Diana and Sheebah Karungi.

Naira Ali recently made a post on her social media platforms claiming that some artists bribe media presenters to play their songs on rotation, therefore blocking songs from others artists from getting airplay.

Following the post, a section of netizens claimed that she was firing shots at Spice Diana and Sheebah Karungi; a claim she has vehemently denied.

"At this point of time, the guilty ones already know. I won't spread hatred because I know the media is looking for beef, they want a war and see me fight with these ladies.

"This post was not directed to one person like people perceive it. I spoke generally speaking to a group of people, not just one person. Just like I said it, we have a big problem in our industry but people are skipping it. You are focusing on who has said it rather than who is doing it," she said.

By press time, neither Sheebah nor Spice Diana had weighed in on the debate around the issue.
