Many have been wondering how Jazmine manages to produce new music and videos despite the current lockdown and a ban on shows due to the Covid19 pandemic. Speaking during a recent interview, Jazmine noted that music is her business and main source of livelihood, therefore, she works hard to sustain it since fans are always demanding for new stuff.

According to Jazmine, the only way she makes money is through music, adding that she’s been sacrificing and producing new jams in order to expand her catalogue and earn more.

"My business is my music. Every week I get a gig to perform at an event because my music pays plus I have earned a lot of money from my music on digital platforms. As long as people support us and watch out videos, we still get the money.

"Music is a passion and it is about sacrifice. We do something that we love from the bottom of our hearts whether you are earning at that point or not. It's not because I have a lot but I'm sacrificing the little I have,” she said.

She’s called up the government to reach out to artists and support them since their sector is the most affected.

Currently, Lydia Jazmine is trending alongside Ykee Benda with their new collabo dubbed ‘Banange’.
