Fik Fameica Shares Tips on How to Develop Successful Collabos

Popular Ugandan musician Fik Fameica has advised fellow artists how to create successful collabos, noting that the secret lies in building chemistry and developing friendship with your partner before you hit the studio.

Fik Fameica is known to release amazing collabos with one of his standout projects being 'Omu Bwatti' ft. Patoranking.  According to him, it is important for artists to vibe, failure to which they’ll struggle coming up with a great song.

"It is important to first relate on a friendly level. Vibe with these people from day one then it will work out. When you meet someone in that circumstance and do a song, in most cases it will be a success. Most of the people I have worked with are my friends and I have never paid for a collaboration," Fik Fameica divulged.

He further noted that it is important for both parties to be fully invested in the project, adding that when one party is doing most of the work, the song may not have any impact.

"In most cases it depends on the working conditions between the two artists. If you pay an artist for a collaboration without them showing any interest, you don't vibe. That is why most people do a song and don't bother to post about it because they are maybe embarrassed or don't feel the song," Fik Fameica said.
