This comes even as tickets for the event were fully bought in the hope of getting a show from the Rwandan artiste.
Kitoko; the proprietor of The Mane records hoped to be in the US, attend fellow singer Meddy’s wedding in Texas and connect with his Rwandan community but it was not possible.
Meddy married his Ethiopian fiancée Mimi Mehifira over the weekend.

Kitoko left Rwanda for the UK a few years ago, but still makes music to connect with his home country.
Although he did not make much music in the last year, he admitted that he is still in the game though he’s been held up by other commitments.
He promised to focus on music fully once he returns to Rwanda and run The Mane Records fulltime.
