Celebrate Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has advised Ghanaians to start celebrating their local music more that they celebrate Nigerian Music because Nigerians do not celebrate Ghana music as much.
In his earlier media tour to Nigeria, Stonebwoy noticed that Nigerians are constantly promoting music of their own artists; he further noted that DJs on radio stations are always prioritizing their music, which they are constantly promoting.

Speaking in an interview on HitzFM the “Putuu” hitmaker said that Ghana music is not as widely played in Nigeria the way Nigerian music is circulated in Ghana. While still on the same topic, Stonebwoy advised Ghanaian radio presenters and DJs to help promote their own artists by playing local music on their radios station.
“Even in my absence I see lots of rotations but the thing is that it is not expected to be as heavy as we rotate Nigerian material here and that is where the comparison comes in there. We feel that it is almost equal to nothing but there is an amount of fair rotation to fit their criteria for foreign material." He said

He further added: “They do play our songs but it's only a few that are top there. Currently, ‘Activate’ with Davido is my popular song in Nigeria… Davido is a big star over there so that has given me a big opening."
