Nigerian singers continue to perform well at the global scene, stamping their authority as a power-house in the African music industry.

On this week's Billboard Next Big Sound, two Nigeria singers - Tems and Blaqbonez are charting.

Tems, an alt/R&B has peaked on the chart at number one this week.

The Rebel Gang leader was at number 14 last week and has now spent an impressive four weeks on the chart.

Rapper Blaqbonez, on the other hand debuted on the chart at number 4.

The controversial rapper who is enjoying massive airplay with his recently released debut album 'Sex Over Love' took to his official Twitter handle to share his joy for debuting on the Billboard chart.

"guyyyyyyyyyys I’m charting on fucking BILLBOARD," Blaqbonez tweeted.

The Billboard Next Big Sound is a weekly chart of the fastest accelerating artists across the Internet. 

Rather than measuring absolute popularity, the Chart shows the artists statistically most likely to become the next big sound.
