A week can barely pass without having new music released by a Nigerian artist, and this week, there are a number of new songs that you need to listen to.
In this week’s round-up of new Naija songs, we feature singles from the veteran Olamide, fast-rising Olakira as well as Victor AD, and a music video for the Lil Frosh and Zinoleesky collaboration.
Omo Ologo video – Lil Frosh ft Zinoleesky
This is a single that has quickly turned into a street anthem. Lil Frosh released ‘Omo Ologo’ to start off his 2021 and featured fast-rising Zinoleesky in the track.
The single now has an official music video released on May 13, 2021 – directed by Visionary Pictures.
Olofofo – Victor AD
‘Olofofo’ is a new single from Victor AD that was released on May 13.
The Amapiano/Pop song believed to be off Victor AD’s upcoming album ‘Nothing To Prove’ is produced by Kulboy, and mixed and mastered by Swaps.
Rock – Olamide
After the success of his 10th studio album ‘Carpe Diem’ released in 2020, veteran Nigerian rapper Olamide is said to be working on a new album, set to be dropped by the end of this year and this new song ‘Rock’ is said to be off the upcoming project.
‘Rock’ is a mid-tempo track that already has an official music video that premiered on May 14, 2021.
Hot Tonight – Olakira
From his soon-to-be-released ‘4 Play’ EP, fast-rising Nigerian singer Olakira unveils the second single dubbed ‘Hot Tonight’ – a follow-up to the first single ‘Sere’ featuring Bongo’s Zuchu.
‘Hot Tonight’ is an afrobeats love song and track 3 on the #4PlayEP.
