Ugandan artist Lydia Jazmine has opened up on her main inspiration for doing music, noting that it is all about entertaining and making her fans happy.

Speaking during a recent interview, Jazmine noted that she does not do music hoping to trend, adding that her focus is always on uplifting, inspiring and giving her fans something to smile about.

"Music is my talent, my job, my passion and everything. I just need to sing to make my fans happy. I focus on good music and leave the rest to God and my fans to take it forward," Lydia Jazmine told NBS Uncut.

"I don't follow trends to make my music. I'm not looking for hit songs or because I want to trend or make news, my main focus is good music and doing something nice for my fans. “I have to maintain the standard I set as Lydia Jazmine because it is what brought me on the map and I do it for the people who love music and understand talent," she added.
