Lydia Jazmine Sets Record Straight on Joining Ykee Benda’s Mpaka Records

Ugandan artist Lydia Jazmine has denied reports that she has signed under Ykee Benda’s record label; Mpaka records.

The reports of Jazmine joining Mpaka records emerged online after she shared a photo showing her signing some documents and tagged Mpaka records.

“God has been so good to me. Here’s to more achievements. Something big coming. Signed & sealed! Watch out for this one! LJ x Mpaka Records on it,” Lydia Jazmine shared.

Reacting to the post, a section of social media users started circulating reports claiming that Lydia Jazmine had ditched her current team, opting for Ykee Benda’s Mpaka records.

The sultry singer has, however, set the record straight noting that the contract she was signing was for an endorsement deal, adding that Ykee Benda was acting as the booking agent.

"The contract signed is a big endorsement deal of a new product to be revealed and launched soon. Mpaka Records is the Booking Agent of the product. Also Ykee Benda is a part of the endorsement deal too," she said.

“I'm not signed under any record label, I'm still working with my team. Thank You," she added.
