Black Market Records has given music duo UgaBoys and Ykee Benda a 7-day ultimatum to delete their newly released ‘Gimme’ video from YouTube, or face legal action for breach of contract.

According to Ocean; an official from Black Market Records, UgaBoys released the project without adhering to their contract which is still in place.

"They got other publishers and distributors yet they were still signed under us. Their 7 year contract is still running and this included us handling their audios, videos, also pay their rent, transport and wellbeing,” Ocean said during an interview at Spark TV.

"They want to be Daddy Andre, Nina Roz or Angella Katatumba in just one year, which is not possible. It is not about the promotion but music. If people are not well acquitted with your music, you have to sit back and make research as to why,” Ocean added.

Reacting to the ultimatum and accusations leveled against them by the label, UgaBoys alleged that Black Market made them promises but failed to deliver.

The Boys further alleged that they were fired and had no other choice but to look for a way out.

"We have been with them for close to three years and it doesn't take long to make us stars. We did Gimme with Ykee Benda and every investment was ours. We didn't need any permission because we had been fired," UgabBoys told Spark TV.
