Ugandan Songs: Pia Pounds Drops Much-awaited ‘Wakikuba Video’

Renowned Ugandan artist Pia Pounds has released the much anticipated video to her latest song dubbed 'Wakikuba'.

In 'Wakikuba', Pia Pounds tells other girls to keep off her man as she’ll never let him go.

The audio was produced by award winning producer Kuseim Fresh from African Bureau of Music (ABM); the brains behind Pia Pounds and Eddy Kenzo's most hits.

Unlike her other jams that are mostly dancehall, Pia Pounds decided to adopt and Afro Zouk sound on this new hit and it has worked perfectly.

“Onyumira when you go down down down You elecritify me scchx eh Engeli gyozina mu round round Bouy you tantalizing You make me wanna touch it,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

The video which adopted a beach setting was shot and directed by Zyga Phix.

Speaking after the song premiered, Pia Pounds noted that shooting the video was tough and hailed her talented team for pulling it through.

The song comes off Pia Pounds recently released E.P titled 'Tupaate' (loosely translated to mean Let's Party).

Tupaate has other songs like Good Good, Selection, Tupaate, Wawangula, Kasonda and Bintwala among others.
