South African-based Zimbabwean artiste Nox Guni emerged victorious in Zimbabwe Music Awards (ZIMA) taking home a trophy for the best Afro Pop Artiste 2021.
In a special message to his fans on Instagram, he thanked them for believing in him to a point that they support his music fully.
He termed the win a huge victory for all his fans.
“We brought this one home!!! ZIMA Award for the Best Afro Pop artist (2021). Goes out to all of you who believed in me since day1. This time around we going global...flying that high on this international platform,” he posted.
Fans in response congratulated him for the win.
“Congratulations honey,” Tallyn Guni stated while Lizzie Jane added “Congrats home boy”.
He recently announced the coming of a new song “Stay With Me” featuring DJ Tira.
“@noxguni ft @djtira : Stay With Me. COMING SOON. Produced by the magician @princebulo at @afrotainmentsa,” he announced.
ZIMA Awards have over the years become a respected symbol of harmony among artists and a model that celebrates the hard work musicians across all genres in Zimbabwe put to entertain and educate people.
Different artistes who have been recipients of the award in the past say that the bliss and honour that comes with ZIMA Award pushes them to their limit.
