Fast rising Kenyan rapper Kevin Grands, on 16th March, 2021 released his latest single dubbed 'Things The Say.' Exploring a fusion of contemporary RnB and Rap, Kevin ventures into a style of music he says he always wanted to do.

'I could say so many things. The joy and excitement to finally have this song out is overwhelming. Not to mention everyone that’s called, DMd, texted me about it.

I say that because as much as I’ve wanted to make this kind of music for so long, it’s also a lil’ risky.What matters though, is that the feeling resonates with you.

A heartfelt applause after his debut performance while in University gave rapper & producer, Kevin Grands, his start in music. Having been making beats for a few years prior, it was only befitting that he evolved into a multifaceted creative: recording & performing artist, music producer and mix engineer, fusing all these into his music.

6 compilation projects and multiple singles later, he has contributed to the vibrancy in the rap/hip-hop scene in Kenya, adding to its resurgence with an allure attributed to his introspective play on words and select style.

He sees himself a contemporary rap artist: folding in modern day hip-hop sounds with his own calculated nuances, and bringing it all together on various stages and events in and around Nairobi.
