I Am Not Successful By Accident, Bobby East Tells Zambians

XYZ CEO and hip hop artiste Bobby East has spoken of his success in music.
Bobby East in a recent post said that his success so far is not by accident; it is by design because he followed his heart.
He recalled one day when he travelled on a Flash Busa from Chunga to Libala where he was to meet Slapdee. This was the day he would prove whether or not he was the man who could steer XYZ Entertainment in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer.
His friend Dizo was the man negotiating the deal and he managed to nail it.
“I signed my contract and went back home..I hadn’t even reached town before I discovered that social media was abuzz with the news of my current deal, everyone had an opinion and I’m sure most of you will recall most of these opinions were extremely negative (y’all have heard hate mail and you know the story),” he recalled.
Bobby East added that a few years later, his hardwork and tough stand on his capabilities have paid off and has become a household name in the country.
His lesson is to always follow the heart and not what people say because the discouragement that they spew in public opinion could ruin a lot of things.
“Fast forward a few years and I’m one the most bankable acts in the country, not to gloat but it’s difficult to drive around the city without seeing my face trying to sell you something.
I didn’t get here by accident, I needed a team to mention my name in the right meetings so that I could focus solely on my craft…We love our fans but most times I notice that you guys don’t understand the inner workings of the music business and you will discourage people from doing what actually makes sense from a business angle,” he noted.
