Christian Longomba of The Longombas Group Dies in US While Receiving Treatment

Veteran Kenyan music Christian Longomba from the Longombas music group is dead.

The news of his death was shared on social media by his brother Lovi Longomba.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord. I love you Christian,My brother, my friend & partner but Jesus loves you more. Enjoy Heaven,” Lovi posted on Instagram.

According to his sister Jessy Jones, Christian passed on in Los Angeles, United States while receiving treatment.

The longombas dominated the Kenyan music scene in the early 2000s, and are famed for their top hits that include; Queen, Dondosa, Vuta Pumz among others.

Kenyans on Twitter and several artists have mourned Christian terming him a great contribution to the Kenyan music industry.
