Nigerian singer Tekno has dropped an official music video for the ‘Designer’ single off his 2020 released debut album ‘Old Romance’.
The video that tells a story of trust and love premiered on video sharing platforms on February 25, 2021.
It is a crispy visual and top quality in which Tekno brings in Nollywood actor Bad Boy, Jim Iyke who is staring.
‘Designer’ is a song in which Tekno talks about how he is certain his girl loves him and cannot swayed by material things, so when temptation arises, the relationship doesn’t waiver – the video clearly brings out this message.
‘Designer’ is the first music video that Tekno Miles has released this year and the off the ‘Old Romance’ album that was described as a project that folds snappy lyricism into alluring Afropop melodies tinged with dancehall, R&B, Afro house and more.
The 27-year-old had previously released the ‘Enjoy’ video during the 2020 December holidays. The video has over 5 million YouTube views.
Tekno had also released a video for the ‘Puttin’ single in 2020.
‘Old Romance’ is an LP that houses 14 tracks – among them expectedly dance-ready tunes like ‘Tumbo’ and ‘Dana’, as he addresses obstacles associated with love in ‘Family Issues’ and adding in some bit of an undeniably celebratory listen—as the previously released ‘Enjoy’ makes clear.
The album was released mid-December 2020.
