Daddy Andre: Music is not a Career for Me

Celebrated Ugandan musician and producer Daddy Andre has revealed that he doesn’t do music because of money or career, but due to passion.

Since his introduction in the music industry, Andre has been listed as one of the best songwriters and producers.

“My fans misunderstand me. What you take as a career, is not a career to me. I do music out of love not because I have to do it. If it was my job, you would see me all of over the place doing shows, performing everywhere and putting myself on pressure like other artists.

"I do it out of love and if someone comes with an aim of sabotaging my music thinking they are destroying me, they are fighting with Ojambo, but as Daddy Andre, I'm so unbothered," he said during a recent interview with NBS.

Daddy Andre discovered his passion for music at the tender age of 16, but started doing it on a professional level in 2010 as a producer and songwriter.
