Levixone Nominated for 2020 Global Music Awards in Ghana

Top Ugandan gospel artist Levixone has been nominated for two awards in the 2020 Global Music Awards that are scheduled to happen in Ghana.

Levixone has been nominated under the Global Artist of the year category and will go up against Ghana's Diana Hamilton and Empress Gifty, Zimbabwe's Mahendere, Kenya's Mercy Masika, Nigeria's Prospa Ochimnana and Joe Praize.

His collaboration with Rwanda's Beza Deborah dubbed 'Celebrate' will be battling it out for the Global Song of The Year 2020.

The 'Chikibombe' hit maker was thrilled with the nods, sharing the news on his social media pages, also rallying fans to vote for him to bring the awards home.

“By the special Grace of God we have been nominated in the Global Music Awards Africa for Song of The Year and African Gospel artist of the year," he wrote.

According to the organizers, Global Music Awards is an event that seeks to recognize emerging and known artists in Africa.

This is the maiden edition that is aimed to put a positive impact in the music industry. The award gala is slated for 6th March, 2021 at the Accra International Conference Center.
