Idols West Africa 2007 Winner Timi Dakolo Turns 40

Nigerian award-winning singer and songwriter, dubbed Nigeria's King of Soul, Timi Dakolo is now up to the 4th floor and has shared hilarious and some intimate messages into the transition.
Taking to Instagram, Timi Dakolo shared a series of messages in show of excitement and anticipation in what is in store as He turned 40. He wrote,


"Happy Birthday To me. I am so overjoyed. I can’t believe I am 40. It was just yesterday I was writing Waec and doing revision on my PN Okeke. It was just yesterday I was dreaming working in Shell and stay in shell camp. Take my granny abroad and buy her everything. Anyways. I just want to live a quality life and laugh as hard as I can. The 4th floor of life looks great.


He added, "Dear everybody, tomorrow is my birthday, I will be turning 40. Surprise me, send me money; slide into my DM or call me through the line in my Bio and ask for my account number. No Jokes..."
Timi Dakolo (born; January 20, 1981) is a Nigerian singer. He emerged winner of the inaugural season of Idols West Africa in 2007. With his victory, he got a recording contract with Sony BMG, in addition to other prizes.
