News of Mdundo's expansion into East Africa well received in Tanzania

Seems like news of Mdundo's expansion in East Africa has caused feelings of excitement and anticipation from fans in Tanzania and we couldn’t be much appreciative and enthusiastic about the response.

At least two of Tanzania's growing music blogs; binamu13.com http://bit.ly/1f7Er7o and masharikiradio.com http://bit.ly/16reD3m have blogged about Mdundo slipping into the region, even terming it as one of the best music platforms to be initiated in East Africa.

When Mdundo was launched late last year the vision was to expand the local music scene into a global audience and connect all African artists through the platform, and as the content manager at Mdundo explained growth into East African market is a great step,

"I'm ecstatic about our expansion because it means creating diversity to the music our fans get to listen to",

He further went on to joke "I also think its a good chance for us to polish up on our swahili"

Mdundo came in as an effort to fight piracy and have artists' talents appreciated and rewarded.

Currently there are over 600 active artists signed on the platform and the numbers keep going up each day.
