Pallaso Reacts to His Nomination for 2021 MAMA Awards

Celebrated Ugandan musician Pallaso had a great year in 2020 having released a couple of songs that steadily made their way to top charts.

Just a few days into the New Year, the Sucker Free Boss is already winning. This was after he got nominated for 'Listeners' Choice' award in the prestigious MAMA Awards 2021.

Reacting to the news, Pallaso couldn't keep calm as he took pride in the great opportunity to represent Uganda.

"My nomination is overwhelming. They hadn't nominated me in the beginning and I saw people standing up for me but I told them to keep calm and instead celebrate the ones who had gotten the chance.

"This has shown the power of the fans and I thank Ugandans for standing with me because I did my best and didn't disappoint you. You and only God have brought me this far. I wouldn't do it on my own," Pallaso said, adding that fans should vote in large numbers to increase his chances of bagging the award.

Pallaso will be battling out with DJ duo Slick Stuart and Roja, John Blaq, Winnie Nwagi and B2C Entertainment.

It is important to note that all the nominees under this category had ana amazing musical year in 2020, thus making it a very difficult group.
