The latest entrant in the #koleyewon challenge is a 3-year-old girl identified as Darasimi posted by Naira Marley on his Instagram page. ‘Koleyewon’​ produced by ​Niphkeys,​ translates to ​“they can’t understand”​ in Yoruba. The track lightly highlights the state of Nigeria and the challenges Nigerian youth and other citizens faced in the hands of the police and especially during and the events leading to the ​#ENDSars movement.

Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has managed to cause a stir in the online community with his latest dance challenge for music single, Koleyewon. The rapper has spent the past few days reposting entries from the challenge on his page.

Naira Marley has been on the other side of the law the last one being detained by the Nigerian Police Force for contravening the lockdown order imposed on Lagos State by President Muhammadu Buhari to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country. On 13 June 2020, he performed at a concert in Abuja despite the interstate travel ban and social distancing rules aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19. He was arraigned by the FCT Administration before a mobile court in Abuja over the concert but was later released.
