Bebe Cool Justifies Including Self Among Best Ugandan Musicians of 2020 Despite Dismal Music Year

On 1st January 2021, Bebe Cool released his list of top Ugandan musicians in 2020, eliciting massive reactions after it emerged that his name was among those listed.
This decision to include himself on the list did not augur well with a section of Ugandan social media users who opted to remind him of the average year he had in 2020.

Speaking during a recent interview, Bebe Cool acknowledged that he had a tough year musically, but noted that he was very active behind the scenes.
He crowned himself the king of showbiz for making people talk about him on social media following Omah Lay and Tems’ arrest last year.

"I said my work this year was shabby and I do not deserve to be on that list. I in fact confirmed it that I shouldn't be anywhere on that list but also, when it comes to doing showbiz in Africa, no Ugandan has trended in Uganda," Bebe Cool told NBS Uncut.
Meanwhile, some of the top artists who made it to the Bebe Cool list include; Pallaso, Eezzy, ZEX Bilangilangi, Sheebah, Mudra, Karole Kasita, B2C, Winnie Nwagi, Eddy Kenzo, Quex, Azawi, Jose Chameleone, Vinka, Daddy Andre, Crysto Panda and Spice Diana.
