Fast-rising Kenyan rapper Joefes has dropped a new song dubbed 'Shamra Shamra' featuring Mbuzi Gang (Fathermoh and Iphoolish) and Mejja.
‘Shamra Shamra’ follows his recent hit song 'Wagithomo' that introduced him to the Kenyan music industry.
‘Shamra Shamra’ is a gengetone hit that focuses on having a good time with your loved ones.
The decision to feature Mejja is a plus as he has given the song the much needed hype.

On YouTube, the video is doing really well with over 180,000 views in four days.
Meanwhile, the gengetone genre is still making waves in Kenya two years after it was unleashed by Ethic.
The style is a rapidly growing movement fronted by young artists and borrows from a long-time Kenyan favourite; genge, which has roots in hip hop and dancehall.
Since The Gengetone revolution in the Kenyan music scene, diverse talents have emerged.
