Roberto and Rosa Ree’s New Song ‘Fake’ Tops African Charts

Imagine what it feels like releasing a song and a few days later, it hits the airwaves in your mother country and goes beyond to become the most listened to song in the continent.
Well, this is the blissful case of Roberto’s new song dubbed ‘Fake’ featuring Tanzanian songbird Rosa Ree.
‘Fake’ as it turned out was among the new songs of the week that were listened to most in the African charts.

In a post on Instagram, Roberto posted: “Top of the Charts @africa_charts @robertozambia x @rosa_ree - #Fake.”
In Tanzania, Rosa Ree got a fair share of glory with several fans jamming to the song and later uploading it on their Instagram pages.
‘Fake’ became an instant hit moments after its release. It has resonated well with fans due to its deep message about life in the 21st century.

Roberto starts off the song with a thrilling English rap and before the chorus kicks in, the song is already deep down.
Roberto captures the fake friendships of the 21st century, fake looks, love, and lifestyle; name them. All these come out so good in the video which has also been praised by his fans.
On her part, Rosa Ree castigates the fake lifestyle that pushed people into an abyss of drug abuse. Following the release of the song, Roberto and Rosa Ree have been hailed for promoting Africa’s music by highlighting the ills that have dogged the society.
