Freeman Releases New Album ‘Freeman and Friends Mixtape’

Finally, after a long wait, Zimbabwean award-winning dancehall artiste Freeman has released his much-awaited album.
Dubbed ‘Freeman and Friends Mixtape’ the album has 11 songs. What is special about it is that it is a “collaboration album” with different artistes in every song thus the title ‘Freeman and Friends’.

He then enlisted the prowess of producers DJ Tamuka, Young Nash, Rodney Beats and GT Beats in his collaborations with Ti Gonzi, Baba Harare, Mambo Dhuterere, Sandra Ndebele, Tamy Moyo, Shinsoman, Mai Titi, Gemma Griffiths, Mbeu, Takura, and Daruler.
The names of these artistes alone tell how much of a sensation the album is with the likes of Tamy Moyo rocking it with their mellow voices.
Zi-Zi, Kutenda, Iparty, Rima, If You Love Mi, I Remember, Warira, Mkwambo, I’m Better, Shamwari, and Pafoni are some of the songs in the album.
Pafoni was, however, released in October. Freeman did it with Takura, a hip hops star in Zimbabwe.

Kutenda featuring Mambo Dhuterere has been out for a few weeks and it has been received warmly by fans.
Freeman and Friends Mixtape was pre-released and is available on all streaming platforms and his YouTube channel.
