Musician Laycon has released an official music video for the single 'Hiphop' featuring Deshinor.
The single produced by Echo the Guru is off the most recent EP dubbed 'Who is Laycon? that Laycon released before he entered the Big Brother Naija (BBB) season 5 which he won.
'Hiphop' music video is an amazing and top quality one directed by award-winning TG Omori.
The video premiered on YouTube on November 25 and it has over 300k views in a day, an indication that it has been received well.
'Hiphop' video serves as Laycon's first since he promised his fans, after winning BBN5, that he would be dropping visuals for their most loved songs off the EP.
He, however, recently featured on DJ Neptune's 'Nobody Icons Remix' alongside emPawa rising star Joeboy that has a music video.
Even before the new found fan-base - Icons, that he got from BBN, Laycon had started gaining prominence with the 'Who is Laycon?' EP that blends diffrent genres from Rap, Pop and Afrobeats.
The EP is Laycon's second produced by Echo the Guru on the track ‘Come with me’ and QueBeat who worked on ‘Fierce’.
Apart from being a Nigerian reality TV personality, rapper, singer and songwriter, the 27-year-old Laycon who is officially known Olamilekan Moshood Agbeleshe, is also currently the youth ambassador of Ogun State, Nigeria since 6 October 2020.
