Veteran Ghanaian Gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong and Asomafo have teamed up with some top musicians in Ghana to preach peace through a song ahead of Ghana's December 7 general elections.

The peace song featured Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Joyce Blessing, Kofi Sarpong, Pat Thomas, Akwaboah, Kuami Eugene, Fameye, Eno Barony and many other talented musicians.

They stressed on the need for peace in Ghana to be preserved. This year's election has been projected to be one of the country's tensed moments especially because two candidates of the leading political parties, John Dramani Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo have all had a taste of power for four years.

In their song, the musicians reminded Ghanaians about how electoral wars ruined some African countries.

While imploring citizens to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming elections, they cautioned them against violence which can destabilize the development of the country. With love and understanding, they believe Ghana can wear its good cloth.

Yaw Sarpong and his team were recently involved in a very serious accident some weeks ago. Fortunately, no life was lost even though they sustained some injuries.
