Watching Platini P’s new music video for his latest song ‘Atansiyo’, you can tell that it is far from the local Rwandan productions. Talk of international standards, opulence and style; they are all in ‘Atansiyo’ which was released in early November.

Platini flew to Dubai with his crew where he did the shooting of the video which he disclosed that it cost him an arm and a leg in funding.

We all know fine things in Dubai are exclusively for the well-oiled pockets, right? Don’t we? Shot in the desert, it is appealing to anyone even those who do not understand Kinyarwanda. When he shot it, he paid more than his initial budget of Rwf 6M. But what would you expect of such an amazing video of international standard that shows life on the other side?

Super gorgeous vixens and top of the range vehicles cruising the desert while the cool Platini sings along with a beautiful damsel by his side. Although it was way expensive, he says he has fulfilled a wish that he has harboured since he started out on his music career a decade ago.

He always wanted to do a classic video of international standards and ‘Atansiyo’ has finally turned his dream into reality.

“Dubai is expensive for a foreign artist to do music projects especially when you don’t have friends there. Everything you touch needs money but back home, sometimes we use friends in video which cuts the cost,” he told KTpress.

The song has 126,000 views on YouTube so far.
