Mejja Dismisses Claims of Demanding Sh12,000 for an Interview

Celebrated Kenyan artiste Mejja has stepped up to defend himself over allegations of being extremely arrogant, extortionist, liar, opportunistic, naive, and disrespectful.

In an Instagram post, Mejja posted a screenshot of the poster with allegations against him, where the user claimed to have paid Mejja Sh12,000 to be a guest in his podcast but he never showed up.

Part of the allegations read, “He is anything any person should never be!! Actually gave him Mejja 12k to be my guest. He never showed up, never apologized, after numerous calls and texts, he asked for Sh1,500 for bundles.”

Expressing his frustration over the allegation, Mejja posted an explanation to his fans and threatened to seek legal redress if the accuser does not apologise.

“Hii ni ujinga gani tena, whoever is doing this should stop and apologize failure to which I will go to the authorities, I don't know this person or the money said, Na pliiiiiiiiz Wagenge I am only on IG sina Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok so any number u get from this social media accounts ni FAKE!!!!”he said.

He further noted that he actually does collaborations for free so it wouldn’t make sense that he would ask to be paid for an interview.
