Burna Boy has already had a good 2020 that might just turn better should his fifth studio album 'Twice As Tall' get a nomination for the 63 Grammy Awards.
And with about two months to the end of the year, we take a look at 5 biggest songs that the African Giant' has released this year.
Odogwu
This was the first single that Burna Boy released in 2020.
'Odogwu' is an Igbo word that translates to 'Great Man' in english and Burna Boy had used the song to not only affirm that he is the greatest artist in Nigeria after Fela Kuti but also showcase the rich culture of Igbo people through its video that has over 7 million views on YouTube.
Wonderful
'Wonderful' is the lead single for Burna Boy's fifth studio album 'Twice As Tall'.
This song's video has been rated among the best in Africa this year and was nominated for the All African Muzik Awards (AFRIMMA) - Music Video of The Year category.
Monsters You Made
Off the 'Twice As Tall' albUm, 'Monsters You Made' is a politically charged Reggae-fusion track that explores the historical injustices on an oppressed race that's convinced enough should be enough.
The song addresses African and African-American experiences with prejudice, touching on subjects like slavery and miseducation.
'Monsters You Made' is full of pain, anger and plenty of defiances, featuring vocals from Chris Martin with a spoken outro from Ghanaian author and poet Ama Ata Aidoo.

This song is also part of the 'Twice As Tall' album that was released on August 14, 2020.
In '23' that features a guitar-assisted instrumental, Burna Boy sees himself similar to Basketball legend Michael Jordan.
Despite not having an official video, the song has been watched over 3.3 million times on YouTube.
Way Too Big
This is another top performing song off the 'Twice As Tall' album tipped to earn a nomination for the World Album of the Year at the 63 Grammy Awards.
In 'Way Too Big', Burna Boy is found in a self-confident form, relaying his intention to avoid bad company as subtle violin runs cushion his vocals.
