Days after Tiwa Savage called out Beyoncé to lend her voice to the anti-SARS movement, mixed reactions have come in from close members in the Beyoncé Team about being called out.
Tiwa Noted, “But I want to use my platform right now to call Beyonce and the whole team that reached out to a lot of Nigerians; Nigerian artistes, Nigerian producers, Nigerian video directors, dancers, creatives.

“I’m calling on Beyoncé and her team, the same way they used their platform… to elevate and to show the world that Black is King and how beautiful Afrobeat and Africa our culture is. I want them to please use their voice and their platform right because the same country that birth this genre (Afrobeat) is on fire right now,” Tiwa Savage stated.

Among the responses are one indirect message from Beyoncé's publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure. She wrote,
"Not all activists live on social media. Not all doers look for validation or your approval. Not all work is for a photo op. Make it normal to stop judging people's actions based on posts. Posts don't make you an activist. Actions make you an activist. Whether in the background or out in these streets. We all choose a different path to get it done. Blessed are those who do not see yet they believe. Actions speak louder than posts. Stop judging. Stop!"

Beyoncé's mother on her end, wrote, "No matter what my daughter does, she is scrutinized and torn apart. She makes a record and uses all African artist, producers, writer. She is criticized because she didn't get artistes from every country in Africa. There are 52 countries!
… She made art!! She is an artist! That is what artist do. She is not your political leader or your whipping board. I have had enough of the hating and I'm personally tired of the attacks.
… I pray every day for Nigeria and all countries that are being abused and murdered for the color of our skin!!! I would do anything to help but stop with the abuse and stop trying to make her your spokesperson and shaming people for doing things their own way.

In their own way, they sympathize while at the same time giving their inputs on Tiwa's mode of passing her frustration on the sad happenings in Nigeria.
