Ugandan singer and songwriter Chozen Blood is one of the very few lucky Ugandan artists that had studios at their disposal during this hard time of the lock down.

With shows, concerts and public gatherings put on hold, many musicians were limited and most of them were not able to release music.

"We were all affected so much and I extend my sincere prayers to all those that were so much affected. But amidst the hustle, we must remain strong and believe that the struggle still continues.

There is positivity in every bad situation and we just have to focus on the good and see how we can achieve all this," Chozen Blood said during an interview with NBS Uncut.

While most artistes refrained from releasing new music because they thought that they had nowhere to perform their jams, since bars and shows are closed, Chosen Blood chose to drop his songs and luck was on his side as he was able to release a hit song titled 'Sharp Shooter.

"Personally, I thank God because I do not buy my music. I have the ability to hit studio and write a song. I decided to release my music because I had the ability. Secondly, when people are sad, this is when they need music the most and I decided not to be selfish to my fans," he opined.

The song is currently one of the most listened to and requested on the media.

Thanks to the lock down when people were at home, the song received massive airplay propelling it to top several charts in the country.
