Jennifer Lopez Set To Receive E! People's Icon Award

Jennifer Lopez seems like she is always restarting her career at every peak of her career. E! Channel announced their nominations for the E! People’s Choice Award and for the special accolade, People’s Icon Award, Jennifer Lopez was named as the recipient.
Jennifer Lopez has been having a great year despite having cancelled her wedding due to the ongoing pandemic. She headlined the Super Bowl earlier this year with Shakira, she has been releasing top-charting music and now this accolade.
Jennifer Lopez is being awarded with the People’s Icon Award for her contribution in television, film, fashion and music. She is also accredited to almost single-handedly bring awareness to the need of representation of the Latinx community in all these avenues, especially music. We had years of enjoying Latina pop music by only her before the others stepped into the scene. We continue to watch J. Lo raising other artists in this community through collaborations and putting them on.
We have also been watching Jennifer Lopez in some of our favourite classic movies. She has managed to re-package herself for T.V with shows such as ‘Shades of Blue’. We have watched her create fashion and create fashion trends too.
Jennifer Lopez will be the third recipient of the accolade after Jennifer Aniston in 2019 and Melissa McCarthy in 2018. The awards will be presented in Santa Monica on the 15th of Novermber.
