Nicki Minaj Earns 2 Latin Grammy Nominations For 'Tusa' With Karol G

Nicki Minaj continues to make history with her music and this time it is with her Latin audience. She has gotten two Latin Grammy nominations for her song ‘Tusa’ as featured by Karol G.
The 21st Latin Grammy nominations were released and to her delight, Karol G had her biggest single yet nominated. This week also, Karol G announced that ‘Tusa’ had surpassed the 1 billion mark in views over at YouTube. This makes ‘Tusa’ Nicki Minaj’s 5th single with over 1 billion views.
‘Tusa’ is not the first entry into the Latin market for Nicki Minaj but in fact her third. However, ‘Tusa’ is her biggest Latin collaborative single yet.
‘Tusa’ got two Latin Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. These are two of some of the most coveted awards in any award show and so it is a big deal for both Nicki Minaj and Karol G.
The 2019 released single helps Nicki Minaj create some history in the music industry as she becomes the first female rapper to be nominated in the Latin Grammys.
It has been a good year for Nicki Minaj; she announced her pregnancy, she got her first Billboard number 1 with her song ‘Trollz’ and now this history-making moment with the Grammys.
