Nina Roz Opens Up on Life after Battling Drug Addiction

Ugandan artiste Nina Roz is one of the few celebrities that have openly confessed to have had a battle with drug addiction.

Nina Roz first opened up about her addiction problem in May during an interview with a local media outlet.

During the interview, she thanked God that she quit her addiction before she was forced into rehab.

Following the revelation, many judged her but she is happy with her life post-drugs. She has not relapsed and has managed to maintain a sober life.

"I'm so proud of my life now to the point that I do not want to remember how I was before," she said.

Nina Roz advised all young girls and fellow artistes to shun drug and substance abuse as it has immense negative effects on one body’s and life in general.

"Drugs are not good and you can still survive without doing them. The difference I feel right now is so big and I'm better than before. I can comfortably enjoy my life in my normal senses and recognize myself.

"Living your life without knowing what is happening around you is the scariest thing ever, because you do not know what you are to the world. But if you are sober and in your normal senses, you are confident enough to do whatever you do everything freely,” she said.
