Young Ugandan rapper Fik Fameica was a few weeks ago sued over his hit song ‘My Property’, with his accusers led by lawyer Prasidia Nagasha claiming that he portrayed women negatively in the viral hit.

"According to statistics, the song has been viewed over 2 million times, liked 13k times and downloaded over 15 million times. So she wants the court to order all these people to destroy them plus the hundreds of introduction ceremonies where this song was played to be canceled?"he posed.

"She may have been looking at milking the situation because she is not anywhere in life but she doesn't know how much this song has developed the economy of Uganda," he added.

According to the lawyer, Fik Fameica does not have time to appear in courts of law because he is busy 'being a celebrity'.

The case is set for hearing on 1st December, 2020, at 10:30am at the High Court by Magistrate Musa Ssekana.
