Positivity has been a vital message for many millenials and Demi Lovato has teamed up with Marshmello to reiterate that it is okay not to be okay. Their new collaborative single is dubbed ‘Ok Not to be Ok’.

‘Ok Not to be Ok’ is a single dedicated to the mental health subject through the Hope For The Day (HFTD) organization; an organization holding much needed conversations on suicide prevention and mental health.

As part of the description for the song, “Suicide Prevention starts with a conversation we're not having with our mental health due to Stigma. The first step to breaking that silence is dispelling stigmas of fear, judgement, and shame about our internal experiences. We achieve that by proclaiming It's Ok Not To Be Ok!”

The song is obviously very close to Demi Lovato who has been vocal about her mental health struggles and encouraging others to seek help and help others.

The video is a four man crew who are going through their morning struggles but being there for each other. It is a pretty chilled out, playful, fun and colourful video.

Remember there are helplines for suicide prevention in Kenya too, as you stay comfortable in not being completely okay, remember to seek help when you need to.
