Angella Katatumba Criticises Daddy Andre for ‘Refusing’ to Perform ‘Tonelabira’ with Her

Renowned Ugandan musicians; Angella Katatumba and Daddy Andre earlier this week had a concert under Black Market records, featuring a number of top artistes from the country.

The highlight of the show was when Angella Katatumba stepped up on stage to perform her hit song 'Tonelabira' featuring Daddy Andre.

Despite Daddy Andre being at the event, he did not join Angella in performing the song, a move that elicited massive reactions among fans.

Angella believes Andre’s move to decline performing with her is linked to their break up early this year.

"Tonelabira is my song and I take ownership. It would be nice if Andre had sung it with me on stage because that is what the audience wants. The song needs a man and a woman and people wanted both of us to perform together,” she said.

Angella said she was so disappointed considering that they were both at the same concert.

"My humble appeal to Andre is to remove the emotions, the love and whatever issues you have against Angella and let us appreciate the fact that you wrote a good song," she divulged.

By press time, Daddy Andre was yet to issue a statement on the same.
